Thank goodness your little one is OK! It is scary to think of what else those dogs will be willing to go after--the next small dog? A child? I am very glad that the end result was not different. I would definately go back to owner's house and give them a piece of my mind.
And demand that at the very least they pay the vet bill. I would even go as far as to make up fliers to put on mailboxes to alert the neighbors.
