You have to take alot more into consideration than just the weights of the breeding pair when trying to determine if it is 'safe' for her to breed. What about her bone structure? Also, does she come from a line of prewhelpers? What are the sizes of the dogs in her bloodine? And the bloodline of the male? The genetics of the dogs in their family trees play a big role as well regarding size.
Perhaps you could visit the breeder that you got her from and have her give you her opinion? She could help you examine the dam and give you hands on advice as far as evaluating her size/structure and could give you the info you need regarding her line's history.
