I had two different ones when growing up. The first was an Albino Ferret named Angel. Then years down the road I had another tan and black one named Kyle.

They can make really fun pets. They are always on the move and love to steal stuff....especially shiny things. Then tend to "hide" everything in the same spots though, so as long as you learn where those are you will quickly be able to find your missing items. They are very comical and will keep you laughing for hours. As already mentioned, they do have a smell to them. With regular bathing, it isn't too bad, but they will always have a musty smell.

Overall, I think that they make great pets. I would recommend getting one of the larger, multi-story cages so that they have plenty of room to run and play when they aren't out. I litter box trained both of mine, which made cleaning super easy both in and out of the cage. As with all pets, I would search out a breeder so that you know you are getting one that has had a lot of human contact and will want to be a part of the family. Good luck in your decision.
