Last night I was jogging with my 3 lb yorkie, a neighbor was outside with three unleashed labs. When we got close, one of the labs made a beeline towards Ginger and grabbed her with its mouth and shook her violently. I grabbed her into my arms, but Ginger was screaming and was in complete shock! The owner took her dog inside and never came out to speak to me. I checked to make sure there were no wounds or blood, then left. When I got home, Ginger was limping. We had her checked out, good thing was she seemed okay. I was terrified, I thought my yorkie was for sure dead! We called Animal Control, but it doesn't sound like much can be done if you're not injured. There is not enough justice for little dogs!
