Please keep her on a leash. My Sandy took off once.. after another dog..
She never had done that. It scared me so much... she could have gotten run over. I brought her in and put her in her kennel.. and she stayed there until my heart got back to normal.. She was on a leash after that for a long time when we were out front.
She has never done it again... but I always look out to make sure there are no cars coming and no kids or animals around before we go out.
