I suggest you look for a rescue for the pups. Yorkies are different than most dogs, in that they don't have a double coat. They have hair, much like human hair and not fur. Fur because of the undercoat acts to keep dogs warm and also insulates to keep them cooler. That's why dogs such as yorkies don't do well outside for, even a short time. Yorkies are much more difficult to breed than larger dogs and cesarean sections are common. This is a very expensive procedure, and it definitely cuts into the profit of those puppies. Also, it's not uncommon for the larger breeds to have 10 pups, but 3-4 would be considered a large litter of Yorkies. Breeding is like anything else; you must study all you can about the breed and breeding before proceeding. Most Yorkies should never be bred, only those that are the finest examples of the breed should produce offspring, and this means that they have been health screened so they won't be passing genetic problems.

When you breed, you are creating life, you are responsible for that life and any life that results from your breeding. Finding good homes for Yorkies isn't an easy thing either. As a breeder, you should insist on a spay-neuter contract and only sell to those people who you know are educated about the breed and what its special needs are. Yorkies are harder to housetrain than most dogs, and it requires specialized training and patience. Many people are unwilling to learn how to do it correctly, and often end up abusing the dog or rehoming it.

Most really good breeders don't make much money breeding it's a love for the breed, and a desire to improve it that calls them to breed. The average byb doesn't make the money you think he does either, and for the hours that you put in helping the dogs mate as well as delivering the pups and taking care of them full time for first three months, you'd be much better off with a job at the local McDonald's.
