The news article I read...specifically said puppies but not the breeds. He had more than yorkies. I'm thinking...it was a variety of puppies healthy enough to be adopted.
When Horton's Kennels here in Virginia was raided...the animals went to a variety of shelters and societies. Most of the ones who had his dogs/puppies...only allowed them to be adopted to someone within the same state and some restricted their adoptions to people on their small breed waiting lists.
