Thumbs up Where has Paula been???

Well this should explain it

these are various write ups in the paper about Tannar's Baseball season....here are a few and Tannar plays for Monroe.

“Win or lose, I’m as proud as heck of these kids,” he said. “It’s an honor to make it this far.”
Monroe moved into the finals by beating Frenchtown 10-0 earlier in the day.
No one had more that one hit for Monroe. Drake Riggs drove in two runs, Alex Lam*bert scored three times and Tanner Osborne drilled an RBI triple.
Luke Strazzulla had two hits for French*town.

Monroe 14, Summerfield 2
Leadoff hitter Bryce Windham went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a single and a walk to spark Monroe.
Tanner Osborne added two hits, Isaac Theisen and Mason O’Lear hit doubles, and Travis Peterson, Aaron Scheuer and Windham drove in two runs apiece.
Monroe pitchers Alex Lambert and O’Lear limited Summerfi eld to four hits. Zach Vigliotti hit a run-scoring double and Reid Olmstead had an RBI single.

Monroe 10, Dundee 0
Kyle Heller and Travis Peterson combined on the four-hit shutout, but the story of the game was Monroe’s defense.
Tommy McComas led off the game with a single for Dundee, but he rounded the bag too far and was gunned down by rightfielder Tanner Osborne . Monroe ended the game with a nifty 4-6-2 double play turned by Sam Perelman, Bryce Windham and Heller.

Monroe 20, Bedford South 6
Bedford South had the misfortune of be*ing the first team to play Monroe after its loss Tuesday. The defending Fair champi*ons played solid ball in the field and scored nine runs in the first inning and seven in the sixth.
Kyle Heller had four hits and pitched two shutout innings for Monroe. Bryce Wind*ham, Drake Riggs, Adam Theisen and Tanner Osborne added three hits to the 21-hit attack. Osborne hit the ball hard every time up and had five RBI.
Bedford South’s Tommy Shepherd and Sal Pizzo had two hits, and Cody Calendine hit a two-run double

So there are a few of the write ups from our local paper. and here is the big one that really tells our Cinderella Story

MonroeNews.com - The Monroe Evening News, Monroe, MI

in the picture on the right side the second kid in with the glasses, thats my Tannar!

Its a tradition after the tournament if Monroe wins we hand the keys over to our kids and they get to drive around a huge grassed field behind the ball diamond. Good lord I was shaking...there he went off with my car, a little man now his team had won the biggest tournament in the County and we were NOT picked to even be in the semi finals They boys were SO cute!! Gripping the steering wheels as tight as they could barely able to see over it and off they went SO proud and nothing but smiles all you could here was laughing radios blaring and horns honking. We parents all stood together watching, mouths open, saying what has just happened???? We handed our cars over to 14, 13 year old boys and they are now driving them!!!!! I have pics my mother is trying to get them off the camera now but I will be sure to post.

So this is were i have been... Working 40 hours....watching nearly 10+ games in 8 days, washing uniforms and trying to keep everything else caught up!
