Poor little girl, what a state she was in!
Looking at her picture you have done a wonderful job of getting her back into good condition.
I think her over excitement is just a combination of puppy energy & extreme joy at finding you to love. Mine always go hyper when they see me, even if I've only been to the shop for 5 minutes!
