Yep, my Marcel had it twice as a puppy. It can re-infect SUPER easy bc during treatment, giardia "cysts" are being shed all over the pup's environment - so you have to disinfect everywhere, as best you can - to prevent reinfection. Often for reinfections, they'll be put on Amoxicillin and Metro or, instead of the Metro, sometimes Panacur, which also shows effectiveness against giardia.
But, the key is to clean the environment with bleach water.
