 Giardia
I don't know if anyone has dealt with this but our little Tag has it. He started showing symptoms 9 days after we brought him home. The vet Gave him a shot and put him on three days worth of antibiotics. I couldn't read the label so I'm not sure what it was. We administered it according to the vet's directions and all was well for a couple of weks. Then the bloody stools started up again and we returned to the vet with Tag. He prescribed 10 days worth of Flagyl which Tag completed. Yesterday we started back with blood tinged stools and the vet is out of town. Tag is back on the Flagyl. I'm just wondering if anyone else has any ideas or experience here ? |
