I have a cousin who has a big ole yellow lab and she says that he "smiles" like this also, except my cousin says it scares the dickens out of everyone the first time they see it.
Rowdy sometimes does it to strangers too, he is always sooooooo excited to see people, but they always seem to recognize it as a "smile". I guess there's quite a bit of difference between a Yorkie smile and a lab smile
