south american breeders I have a friend in south america who handles dogs, and does some breeding. Money is tight there and pups don't sell for much. That is probably why you can buy one cheaper there than from here. Just beware, that is a LONG time for a pup to be in cargo on an airplane. A direct flights is many hours, more than I'd fly as a passenger and these pups are in cargo, if they have a connection or have to refuel, that is awful for them, they are babies. Not to mention they can get lost or stolen..their is a lot of theft in south america. My friend actually came home from a long weekend from showing and found her window air conditioners were gone..can u imagine?? Stealing your a/c units? They can't buy things like we can here. Electronics are very expensive and they charge a lot to get them into the country. I sent her a show jacket, the jacket was $30 and the customs was $60. Certainly not worth it..and a lot of corruption too. |
