Prices for grooming vary from city to city. Here, I charge $27 for a full grooming. So technically, I groom my yorkie myself but I AM a groomer. lol So I can't really give you an answer there. It's not that hard to groom a Yorkie though. There are lots of books and videos and people here that can give you excellent advice and tips on how to groom your yorkie. You can purchase top grooming quality shears and clippers on PetEdge.com for a great prices. If you do want to take your yorkie somewhere, they really only need to be GROOMED (such as actually trimmed) every 4-6 weeks depending on your furbaby's coat. You can bathe your dog more often than that, but no sense in taking your yorkie to a groomer just to be bathed when you can save time and money by doing that at home. Hope that helps you!
