Keep in mind though, just because this is what I have determined is best for MY dogs, does not mean that will be what is best for YOURS...every dog's needs are different. Just takes a little time to find the best match sometimes. | I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who "mixes up the kibble"!
My family thinks I'm weird because I combine 4 different dry's, give canned in the morning, a little raw - and some supplements...
I just started a new combination of EVO Red Meat Small Bites, Taste Of The Wild Pacific Stream, Wellness Core and Solid Gold Bark At The Moon which I'm giving twice a day - (I switched the Wellness Core from Wellness Just For Puppy - and switched the Solid Gold from Timberwolf) - -
I give Avanger's canned 100% rabbit, pheasant, buffalo, duck or chicken(alternating days) - - (or Wellness canned venison or salmon since I can't find it in Avanger's).
I mix flaxseed oil in with the dry... and Missing Link in with the wet.
They get fresh fruits and veggies, some raw chicken pieces and raw bones on a regular basis as well.... I want to try the NV Medallions in place of the chicken pieces though. |
