I would say every 3 to 4 months. I dont keep mine in a puppy cut though. I dont like the shaved down look. I just tell the groomer a yorkie cut and they trim the hair on the body down but leave enough on the head that you can still put atopknot if you want to. Its a real cute yorkie cut.
