Is does take several times for your dog to get used to them. My chihuahau is used to them and does just fine wearing them but I havent really tried with my yorkie too much(she has just worn them for fun a few times, not for actual walks). The ones that have a velcro strap around the top do stay on pretty good(in my experience). Target does have one size pink boots for $9.99.
