My sister's pup was just itching badly.... hadn't had any hair loss or anything like that. There was some "scaley" skin under his arms and a tiny little "bumpy rash" on his belly at first.
As the itching and scratching continued, we found a tiny little "hot spot" looking sore and a couple of "itchy spots" that looked almost like ringworm spots... that's what got him into the vet.
Right now he's just being treated with a medicated bath, clavamox for secondary infection (just in case) - and ivermectin daily (for forever almost!). |
