What a situation. Thats exactly how I would feel. You KNOW the right thing was to tell that couple about puppymills and looking for a reputable breeder. Educating people on things like this will go a ways towards stopping puppymills. However, yeah Id feel sooo bad for the pup also, not her/his fault where they were born and what conditions.
