I couldn't wait either when I finally got down to only one more day wait, I kept myself busy with puppy proofing the house, getting down on the carpet on my stomach so I could see better, just in case something was stuck somewhere.
My baby was 2.1lbs when he came home at 9 weeks, so I made sure i had some nutrical and gave him a bit before he went to bed, and a little in the middle of the night when I woke him up to go potty.
Now he's 22weeks and still not that much bigger but he doesn't need the nutrical anymore, but sometimes I will give him some for the vitamins & fat.

I forgot to add that I made sure i posted the list of safe and not safe foods on my fridge, the number to my vet and the emergency vet phone number even though its about an hr and a half away in a state that I've never been to
