I get these too and they can last for days....I find a combination of Advil Liquid Gels (2) and Extra Strength Tylenol (1) work best if caught early. If you feel it coming on take them and lie down for a bit. There is also this natural stuff called Sinus Buster that is supposed to be amazing but I haven't tried it yet, keep forgetting to buy it.
