I've heard that the economy is having alot to do with animals becoming homeless. So many people aren't doing well scraping money for gas and groceries and alot of people have lost their homes. Then end up in places where they just can't keep their pets or Heaven forbid the poor pup would end up needing vet care that the owners wouldn't be able to afford on top of everything else. It's something that I fear, one day your living comfortable and the next day all you have is somehow ripped out from under you including your pet and his or her comfy life.
