most small yorkies have only one to three puppy, three if your lucky. just having one is not unheard of and happens alot with small breeds. I bet its health. Its easyer on the mommy if she has more them one, the puppy are born smaller. One can be some times too big for or hard for a small female to give brith to. be sure to ask to see the mommy and daddy.
