CHEWY DOESNT DO ANYTHING IN THE KITCHEN BUT EAT!!!!!

I think I know what kind of bugs you're seeing - they could be weebles. They get into flour products- pasta etc in the summer - have you checked your pantry ? Fleas are not slow and don't hang out in the kitchen - but these little invaders do -
I'd do a cleaning of your pantry and check ALL the food - that may solve your problem (I know this cause I had then due to some spagetti boxes I had - I threw it all out - cleaned, sprayed my pantry - and haven't seen one since)
