So true.. it is sad when people have to put their pets in shelters, but even more so when their pet is at such an old age... i honestly do NOT understand how a person could do that.. unless they are in great financial need or need medical assistance (which sadly is not the case for most of the abandoned pets at shelters).. i do not understand it..
