Although they hate it, it is sooooo important to brush your yorkies teeth! My family officially gave up on brushing Molly's and she would just have her teeth cleaned whenever it was time at the vet, but as she got older she kept having to have more and more teeth extracted. Near the end of her life she had very few teeth, poor baby girl! So don't think that the frequent teeth cleaning at the vet is enough. I've heard that if you start brushing a puppy's teeth when they are very young and just get them used to you messing around in their mouth that it is supposed to help make it a standard deal for them. |
