This is because when a pit bull bites they have such a strong jaw it really leaves a dent and can really hurt someone but i have never met a mean pit bull (but know they are out there) and have met meany other breeds that are very mean and aggressive. I do not think any thing is born mean i think it is usually how they are brought up , mental problems, issues in there life things they are upset with and it is to bad that people are so against them. My pit bull cross Rocky is so so careful and gentel with both my chihua and yorkie and I could never ask for a better dog.
