If only people would stop and think. Owning an animal isn't a temporary thing. It is a privilege! They should be part of your family.. or don't get them. We live in a throw-away society and all I can say is "SHAME ON US".
When a baby comes into our home, we have them for life. People who do not feel that way.. shouldn't have them. One of our cats was almost 20 when he left us and another was 22.
This is a great post and I hope people will stop and think... before they buy.
