I think in taking any dog in that needs to be rehomed is more or less considered a rescue. This baby needs a home the breeder is retiring her and she does need teeth cleaning and spayed, and prob a good grooming. so the breeder is leting her go for free so that the new owners can use the money to get this done for Rosie. The breeder has tried to rehome her herself, but had no luck, everyone seems to want puppys. She called me and I said I would ask around. As for the rescues No the breeder was not sending her to a rescue. But there are rescues that are willing to take her in and help find her a home.
I dont believe in rehoming a dog after they are done breeding and are no longer any use for their breeding program. I think its sad. but breeders do do this and Im just wanting to help this baby find a good forever home.
