My Buddy was hit by a car on May 5th, it killed him instantly, I thank God he did not suffer long. I wish he hadn't had to suffer at all and was still here. I wish we had put him in his cage when the kids started going toward the door, after he had eliminated on the peepads on the front porch, but we didn't and he squeezed through the front door it was open a jar and he wiggled until he got out and chased a gorund squirrel into the street and into a car. The car didn't stop either.

I have worked in Emergency rooms were similar accidents have happened to children.
The underlying issue is accidents are accidents and we can't kick our selves for what we did or did not do. The loss of a loved one the pain of our loss is punishment enough. I think it would be a great idea to use tragic stories to help us be more aware of safety and maybe we can be more diligent in the future ourselves and pray for those who have lossed loved ones to heal.
