 Noelle was spayed with no problems :)
I too was very concerned about getting Noelle spayed....but we did it ! Noelle went in last Thursday morning at 8:30AM and by 1:30PM the vet called me to tell me that she did just fine and was waking up from the anesthesia...she was intubated with no problems. I had the pre-op bloodwork done too. I picked her up at 5PM and she was a little groggy but very happy to see me. He gave her a shot of Rimadyl for the pain and gave me some pills of the same to take home for her. I paid $213.00. I only had to give her a half of the Rimadyl pill the following day more as a "just in case" she was in pain. I didn't want her to be uncomfortable. Then the following night around 2 AM she was really grouchy with the cat so I gave her a 1/2 baby aspirin and she went back to sleep with no problem. I stayed home Thursday and Friday to take care of her and by the weekend she was chasing the cat again. Now, a week later she's totally recuperated....back to her happy self.
Don't be afraid to ask your vet tons of questions, that's what they're there for......Good luck !!! |
