I spoke with Trish yesterday ... Shira is doing well, but still has a long recovery. We may have an opportunity to meet her this afternoon ... we are so excited! Trish sounds like a wonderful person and has rescues other than Shira. Also learned that Shira's surgery was done at the hospital where Toto sees her local vet. Will keep you updated!
