Rocky started sneezing, water eyes, lethargic, loss of appetite, vomiting his neck was very tender and he would cry out loud if you turned it. Took him to the vet who did blood work, wbc-18.09, alb-2.2, alp-481,alt-635. Vet put him on antibiotics and sulcrafate for the vomiting. Want to do exten$ive testing on liver, xrays, liver sonogram and battery of tests. He is 4 yrs old and otherwise was healthy until this. Could this be some kind of serious liver disease? Someone mentioned liver shunt or mvd. I am a new dog owner have had him since march previous owner was elderly and couldn't care for him any longer. He is a very nice little dog, well behaved, kind of timid.
