Has your vet ever done a skin scraping?

Maybe I'm obsessed with the topic now, because my sister's pup has it, but the way you said "it started in small spots at first, but now is all over"... and "her hair is falling out... ALL of it!".... sounds like demodex.

In many cases, the demodex begins as a "localized" case... which later turns to a "generalized" onset if the pup's immune system remains weak.

A skin scraping by your vet and exam under the microscope will tell you for certain.
