I thought it would be fun to stop along the way instead of the beach..we will roughly have about 4 days that we can play with...I have thought of white water rafting in WV...the states we go throught are Eastern Pa, Ohio, West Virginia (just the corner) to Kentucky. My parents about 30 minutes from Nashville, which we've been to...we love the outdoors...but mind you I have a too cool for school 13 year old and a 6, almost 7 year old so it would have to fit both.

Thanks for your help!
The Smokey Mountains are always fun...... Gatlinburg has an amusement park (Dollywood). There are great restaurants, shopping, and lots of things to do in town. It is nothing fancy, but beautiful to see...... you can also take to some of the trails in the mountains.. lots of places to hike.... but beware of the bears!!! We have seen them there before!! (and DO NOT FEED THEM... there has been some bad situations I have heard!!)
...... the "apple barn" is one of my fav places to eat!
