My yorkie has not been well now for a couple of weeks he started off by coughing yellow flem and he just wants to sleep all the time. He is 12 years old and getting on a bit and we have had him to the vets a couple of times and all they say it is his age.
They checked his temperature which was ok and gave him some antibiotics and some kind of pick me up .And told us to come back in 48 hrs.
We are just sat here and he is not getting better it is tearing us apart.
We noticed he was losing weight a while back on his rear back legs and was told nothing to worry about.
The thing is he has a heart murma and they won,t sedate him for an xray or operate because he mite not pull through.
We just want some advice of what else we can do.
He is my best mate but i don,t want him to suffer but i can,t make the desision to have him put down because i don,t know whats wrong with him.
Please someone help me
