My husband and two boys (6 & 13), and I will be driving down to the border of Ky & Tn around the first week of August. We were going to stop at the beach on the way home, however..it is a 12 hour drive just to the beach and then another 5 or so back home (central pa). I thought it would be fun to stop along the way instead of the beach..we will roughly have about 4 days that we can play with...I have thought of white water rafting in WV...the states we go throught are Eastern Pa, Ohio, West Virginia (just the corner) to Kentucky. My parents about 30 minutes from Nashville, which we've been to...we love the outdoors...but mind you I have a too cool for school 13 year old and a 6, almost 7 year old so it would have to fit both.
