man $2 a lb ,, amazing aint it?,, but then back home i had to pay $5 for a gallon of milk,, nearly $3 for a loaf of bread,, just EVERYTHING going up but our pay! and one more reason to work so hard in the garden for me,, i can just about LIVE on my peas and cornbread!! and we've sold our watermelons for $3 each! and most are BIG melons!!! we even juiced a bunch and made our first watermelon wine!!!
