I don't have any definite answer for you but will tell you that I give all my dogs flaxseed oil every day. It is excellent for the skin and coat and has many other health benefits. I recently started using it myself and have noticed real benefits in the condition of my skin. Not saying this will fix your girl but it surely could only help. If you decide to try it, use about a teaspoon per 10 pounds of body weight daily. You may notice a looser stool at first. If so, you can cut back the dosage just a bit until her body gets used to it. I never had to do this but it can occur. If she tolerates it well, you may be able to give a bit more since her skin is so dry. I just mix it in with the evening meal when I give mine can mixed with dry. Puritan's Pride is a good source for buying it...they have a sale on now. You won't see overnight results but should see some benefit within a couple of weeks. Best of luck.
