This must be the time of year for bees. I was actually coming on to post the same thing about Preston. He got stung by something last night, we are not sure what. He was just walking around the yard then started yelping and running. I was really scared because I didn't know what was wrong. Then I got him to settle down enough for me to look. I found a red lump with a purple center on the top of his front foot. He was limping also. I called the vet, and they had me give him half a 25 mg benadryl (remember Preston is a teapot weighing in @ 13lbs) and put ice on it. He limped off and on for the rest of the night and would occasionally jerk his foot around. By this morning he was fine, no limping, the swelling was gone and just a little purple spot remains.
