When you're writing it and before you submit, highlight what you want to copy (or cut) out of your message. Then hold down "Control" and push "C" to copy your thread, and then when you go to post your new thread, you can hold down "Control" and push "V" to paste into the new message.
Control + X will also work to CUT the part out of the original message. Try doing this in Word a few times before you're on YT, or try it in the test forum until you get used to how it works. Control C or X will only store the LAST thing you copied or cut-so you can't copy just one paragraph, and then try to copy another without pasting the first thing you copied in another place. So, if you need more than one paragraph, copy them all at once. I hope that makes sense and helps! |
