During the times when you are in need of rest is it possible to put your pup in an xpen? It is safer then freely warndering the home where not only is he able to get in the other dogs food, but also chew on other things he shouldn't (ie. cords, furniture, etc).
The only other possible solution I could think of - and don't laugh - tupperware. They usually have lids that snap down tight. It may not be a cure, but it is one solution. Any one else?
