Not sure what age your baby is. But if he isn't housetrained then I'm taking it he is young. We only put those new ones in bed in the crate so they can see us or up on something like a table or chair. Just so they can see and hear you. We also have put something over the door for the ones that keep the crying up. Also try a microwave warmer to make them more comfortable. Most pet stores has things like that. Put a stuffed toy in for them to cuddle with or a Tshirt you wear with your scent. Good Luck it will get better. Try putting him in another room and with a radio. That also works they get use to the noise.
