A show breeder told me that if you let the hair grow long on the males shaft that it will act as a wick and keep the pee from getting all over the coat. But then you would have to wipe off his wet winkie. The only other option would be to try to put his coat in scrunchies when you take him out to pee or teach him to squat like a girl.
