I will never have just 1 dog, I really feel they do so much better when they have a pack other then their humans. In a natural wild environment they aren't loners so it only makes sense to allow them to have a buddy in our homes. At first it might be a difficult transition, but most times it is just us as people that are having a hard time dealing with them working out their pecking order. Go for it!
