The vaccine (like the flu vaccine) can often cause kennel cough and only protects against a few strands of the virus (again, like the flu vaccine) Layla had the vaccine and then 3 months later got the virus. Unless your dog will be at a groomers or a doggie day care.. i would avoid it.
