[QUOTE=ProfessorPeteZa;2121621]I HAVE THAT target shirt and hat! Almost all the clothes there say teacup breeds. >:-(

what really annoyed me was that in the current issue of CosmoGirl! ( dont as why i have a subscription. lol it was free) Lindsey Lohan's Little sister is being interviewed and she took pics of her favorite things. In one pic she said this is my MICRO MINI Maltese and lists some ridiculously small weight. Micro Mini is the new teacup and teacup is the new fat it just keeps getting worse and worse[QUOTE

Exactly!!!

And Dena - see this is where the problem comes in - the word is used as a marketing ploy - and they have to keep coming up with smaller and smaller ones. Some people always have to have the "tiniest, the best, the most expensive, etc." and if this keeps going on, I can see breeders under feeding puppies, just so that they will be the tiniest.

The dam is 4.5lbs, not exactly the best of weights to breed. The registration is APRI, which is used by commercial breeders and those that can't register AKC.

The price of the yorkie doesn't bother me if she were to come from a reputable exhibitor/breeder.
