Mr. Zeus is my 3 year old furkid and he is a momma's boy through and through
! He is so cuddly and loving to both my husband and I and we think he is just perfect!!!
He loves other dogs and gets so excited when he gets to go play with his furfriends and furcousins!
So like many others on here we have been searching for a little brother for him so he can have a buddy around the house all the time.
But I also worry that he might not like a buddy as much as I think he would!
My questions are:
Have you had your older dog become less loving/cuddly/attached when you brought home a second dog? I have read some things (article, posts, etc.) recently that said he may become less affectionate and detached from us.
I have also heard that some dogs like being an only child/dog. He loves to go play with his buddies...but I am worried he might not want to share his mommy and daddy all the time and might like his "alone time"! What do you think?
I know I am a worry wart and a nut but this is something that I have been thinking about for a while and I really would love to hear your opinions!
I just want to make sure I am making the best decision for my family!!!
