This is correct. I crate my little girl at night, but as soon as I sit up in bed...you can see she is ready to run outside to tinkle. Then she walks for a bit and does her poo. When I first got her I was taking her out every 15, then I moved on to every 30 until she sorta understood what the outside walks were for. Now I take her out as soon as we wake up, at noon, in the evening and a short walk before we go to bed. I do have a potty-pad in the kitchen in case she does need to go before we go, but she rarely goes tinkle on that anymore these days. I think I have it down just in case...you know.
