You might think I’m crazy….but, ages ago when I was in my 20’s I traveled extensively in the mid-west. During this time I became friends with a native American Indian. I was raising Burmese cats at the time, and one of my cats got into a fight with some wild animal and had received a severe wound on his body, that actually abscessed because nothing would work to heal this wound. My Indian friend told me to make a paste out of ground tumeric and to keep it on the wound. I’m not kiddin you that sucker healed in no time. It works. What promotes the healing is the curcumin in the turmeric. Tumeric is also used by some curry powder manufacturers also, and I think that's what I had in the cabinet and he said it was fine. Johnson and Johnson now have a band-aid that has curcumin in it. So….there you have it….and if he licks it…it’s all natural. If you do determine that it is a sore and decide to try it...let me know.
